By BBN Staff: Orange Walk Police are seeking two Hispanic men after a brazen midday robbery at the Western Union office in Orange Walk Town yesterday.

The 25-year-old cashier told police that on Monday, at around 12:15 midday, he was attending to customers at the Western Union office on #47 Belize-Corozal Road when a man entered and pointed a black handgun at him and demanded money.

The cashier handed him $2,200 cash from the drawer. The robber also took $800 from a 49-year-old customer and a blue LG Tribute cell phone valued at $500 from a second person who was at the office at the time.

He then left in a white SUV without a license plate. At the time of the robbery he is reported to have been wearing a light blue polo shirt, straw hat and dark sunglasses. Police are now seeking two men in connection with the incident.
