Woman stabbed in Placencia Village

By BBN Staff: Cynthia Medina, 20, was stabbed in Placencia village by another woman on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.

According to police reports, Medina was working at E&E Chinese restaurant in Placencia village when a young female entered the establishment and had an altercation with her.

As a result, the young female pulled out a knife and stabbed Medina on the right abdomen and right arm.

She was transported to Southern Regional Hospital and later to Western Regional Hospital where she was admitted in a stable condition.


Police are investigating.
