Fisherman missing at sea; Coast Guard searching for him

By BBN Staff: BBN has received reports that a fisherman is missing at sea.

According to reports, three fishermen were returning home on Friday, September 30, 2016 after a full day of fishing at sea when they were attacked by pirates who were in an unknown vessel.

The incident happened off the coast of Dangriga and the three fishermen jumped into the sea to escape but only two of the men have been located.

The third person is missing at sea and the Coast Guard is now searching for him.

A source told BBN that the pirates were carrying high powered weapons.
