Police officers in Orange Walk involved in human trafficking ring

BBN Staff:A police corporal and a police constable from Orange Walk may be involved in a human trafficking ring.

According to reports, the two officers have been detained in connection with human trafficking charges; however the police department has not yet released the full details of the case.

BBN has been informed that the professional standards branch in Belmopan is handling the case and the police corporal who is detained has a record and has been disciplined before for misconduct.
