Two men perish in Orange Walk traffic accident

By BBN Staff: Police responded to an accident on the San Felipe Main Road between Miles 18 and 19 on Friday night where they saw the body of 25-year-old Abraham Diaz of August Pine Ridge a few feet off the road with head and body injuries. Diaz’s body was transported to Orange Walk Hospital Morgue.

The accident involved a red Meilun motorcycle, which was totally destroyed in the accident, and a black Ford F-200 pickup truck.

Police later returned to the scene where the lifeless body of 34-year-old Antonio Solis, also of August Pine Ridge Village, was discovered with head and body injuries as well.

Martin Ramos of San Felipe Village was traveling from August Pine Ridge towards San Felipe and upon reaching between miles 18 and 19 he collided into the red motorcycle that was being driven by Diaz and traveling towards August Pine Ridge Village. Diaz was accompanied on the motorcycle by Solis.
