Salvadoran Gang Leader detained in Belize

By BBN Staff: Juan Lopez, a Salvadorian gang leader has been detained by Belmopan police for illegally crossing our borders.

Details of his capture and character remain sketchy and it is unknown why he is in Belize. However, this is his second time here.

Efforts are being made to have him returned to El Salvador or incarcerated.

Police will provide more details by midday.
