Police issue official report on murder in San Pedro

By BBN Staff: Last week Friday, police responded to a shooting incident in San Mateo Area where officers observed the lifeless body of a male Hispanic person lying face up in a pool of blood in the middle of the street with what gunshot wounds to his body.

He was shot multiple times.

The deceased was later identified as a Honduran laborer Nieves Antonio Pagoada, 44, of San Mateo Area.

Initial investigations reveal that Friday night around 11:00, Pagoada was on his way home and when he was accosted by unknown persons who shot him.

The body was transported to the San Pedro Poly Clinic where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are seeking one person for the murder. Police investigations continue.
