By BBN Staff: Hector Silva has undoubtedly become a staple on the morning show circuits as a popular and opinionated caller.

His modus operandi was to call each and every radio show to add to the national conversation.

However, his voice will be no more, well at least according to the retired PUP politician and activist.

“Regretably, because of the high cost of  telephone  calls, I  have decided  to call it quits,” he said in a recent Facebook post.

He further thanked all those who’ve supported him throughout his years.

It is left to be seen if his colleague and fellow serial caller, Ernesto Torres will also follow suit and retire from a life of calls.
