Man shot to the head on Old Northern Road

By BBN Staff:  Acting on information, Ladyville police visited the Old Northern Road sometime around 9 p.m. lastnight.

Upon arrival police found, Anthony Vansen, 34, bleeding from the head.

According to police reports, Vansen, who is a Belizean security guard of Lake Garden area of Ladyville, was heading near the Philip Goldson Highway when he heard a loud noise and fell to the ground.

Vansen told police he didn’t see anything or anyone.

He was being transported to the KHMH by police when he was transferred into an incoming ambulance at the southern end of the Haulover Bridge.

Vansen has since been listed in a stable condition.
