Belize City sees second murder on second day of the year

By BBN Staff: The 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant will be held on January 30, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines.
Rebecca Rath will be representing Belize at the distinguished event.
Rath has gained more popularity after winning the Miss Belize Universe pageant in September and continues to win the hearts of Belizeans at home and abroad.
Missosology.info, a professional pageantry website, recently offered an in depth assessment of the Miss Universe front runners.
The website ranks Ms Belize Rath as 18th, stating that Belize is usually ignored but this time, the country is sending a beautiful candidate who is an athlete, appealing and very articulate.
“My only concern is her catwalk training and proper styling. If she will be properly groomed and styled properly, then we’re seeing a potential semifinalist,” the article says.
With only 28 days away from the pageant, the contestants continue to prepare for the big night.
