By BBN Staff:  In light of the bloody New Year weekend, south side cops in Belize City have managed to take a gun off the streets, their first for the year.
Acting on intelligence, the police conducted a search this morning at around 12:30 in an undisclosed area of Patridge street.

Officers found a sawed off 12 gauge pump action shotgun. No one was in the area and so no one was arrested.

The gun was labeled as found property.
