Miss Belize Universe, Rebecca Rath departs for Philippines

By BBN Staff: On Tuesday, January 3, Miss Belize Universe, Rebecca Rath departed for the final countdown to Miss Universe 2017 in Manila, Philippines.

The 65^th edition of the Miss Universe pageant will be held on January 30.

Rath’s infectious personality, vibrant smile and captivating intelligence and talents has contributed to her gaining increased popularity after winning the Miss Belize Universe pageant in September. She continues to win the hearts of Belizeans at home and abroad.

The competition is slated to begin a couple weeks before the finals and will be aired live on Fox TV.

On her social media page, Rath expressed happiness on Monday: “I leave Belize tomorrow – unbelievably excited, proud to be representing Belize and strengthened by the love and support I have received from Belizeans everywhere! You will be with me in my heart!” Rath also expressed gratitude to all her supporters.

With only 25 days away until the big night, the contestants continue to prepare. BBN wishes Rebecca well as she represents Belize.
