Police find rifle in Southside Belize City

By BBN Staff: This afternoon at around 1:15, the Southside Strike Team conducted a search on an abandoned lot on Iguana Street extension, Belize City which resulted in the recovery of a Black .9mm Hi-Point Carbine Rifle with serial number A61371 and an extended magazine containing (5) Live rounds of .9 mm ammunition.

No one was in the area and the weapon was deposited as “found property”.
