Miss Universe Belize has landed in Philippines

By BBN Staff: Miss Belize Universe, Rebecca Rath has arrived in Manila, Philippines, where she will be representing Belize at the 65^th edition of the international Miss Universe pageant.

Belizeans on social media are showing great support for her, sharing pictures and voting on the Miss Universe vote page.

“Happy to be in Manila! Lots of press and very warm welcome!” she posted on social media.

Some comments read “Best wishes to you.. No matter the out come of the pageant we are still proud of you..1 “.. and” Love and Blessings always Bex.”

On the official Miss Universe website, a brief description of the Belizean beauty was posted including her response of what she would do if she won the title of Miss Universe 2017. “If Rath wins the title, she hopes to raise awareness for domestic violence and also contribute to the non-profit children institutions in her country,” it said.

With only 17 days until the prestigious event, the contestants continue to prepare for the big night. The event will be held on January 29 and will be aired live on FOX TV.
