The body was removed from the river where it was observed to be a dark complexion man dressed in a white color T-shirt and checkered boxers.
He appeared to be in his late 30’s to early 40’s and is about 5ft. in height. No identification was found on the body.
No sign of violence was observed on the body.
The body was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where a post mortem examination was conducted certifying the cause of death to be ‘Asphyxia inhalation of fluid consistent with drowning.’
Police investigation continues.
