San Antonio villagers concerned about dead dogs in community

By BBN Staff: Villagers in San Antonio, Cayo are requesting assistance from the relevant authorities regarding dead dogs in the community.

According to reports, villagers are observing sick dogs in the central area of the community and dead dogs left to die are now decaying in public areas.

Some residents believe that the animals were poisoned. Residents report seeing dogs wandering around foaming from the mouth.

Residents are concerned since the dogs may be carrying diseases which can be hazardous to public health.

The residents are pleading to the village council, Health or Environment department to inform them if there is any ongoing operation to exterminate dogs in the area.
