SUV belonging to Heritage Bank damaged by fire

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the cause of a vehicle fire that occurred around 2:20 this morning.

Kwame Bennett told police that he was sleeping and the white Mitsubishi SUV was parked on Vernon Street in Belize City.

Bennett said he was alerted by neighbors that a vehicle was on fire and when he went to check he noticed it was the vehicle he was driving.

The vehicle is the property of Heritage Bank and received fire damages.

Police are investigating.
