Cyclist knocked down by bus

Cyclist Geon Hanson is undergoing surgery after he was knocked down by a passenger bus while on a training ride this morning.

Reports are that Hanson was hit from behind as he rode near mile 38 on the George Price Highway this morning.

Hanson is one of Belize’s promising young cyclists, who rides in the under 23 category.
