A gusty southeasterly airflow is maintaining good weather conditions over Belize.
The general forecast for today and tonight is for mostly sunny skies today. Tonight, skies will be clear.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots with occasional higher gusts.
The sea state is moderate to rough. Operators of small craft should exercise caution in rough seas. High temperatures today will be around 91 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, and 77 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.
Tonight, temperatures will fall to 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a cool 66 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
The tides: there will be a high tide at 12:30 pm. A low tide occurs at 7:01 pm. The sun sets at 5:49 pm.
Sunrise on Tuesday is at 6:24 am. The extended forecast, valid through to Wednesday is for continuing fair weather conditions to prevail.
