3 year old girl sexually assaulted; a minor is the suspect

A three year old girl was sexually violated earlier this week in Bullet Tree Falls village.  And the alleged perpetrator is believed to be an underage boy who is now in police custody.

Police say that on Tuesday, the mother of the little girl, went to the San Ignacio police station to report that the child was violated on Monday evening.

The woman says that around 5 pm on Monday, the boy went to her house in Bullet Tree Falls village. After talking with the minor, the woman says that she went into another room to get some clothes.

Shortly after, she saw her 3 year old daughter walking towards her without her underwear and bleeding from her vagina.

When asked what happened to her, the 3 year old girl told her mother that the boy sexually assaulted her with his finger.

Police say that a medical examination of the 3 year old girl was conducted and the doctor certified that the child was assaulted. Police have detained the minor while their investigation of the incident is ongoing.
