PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: Over two hundred people braved the rain and the mud to attend Sunday’s ground breaking ceremony for the new LifeNet church building project in Belmopan.

According to Missionary Lee Brockinton “it was an awesome” experience to see that despite the rain people came out.

“There was no way to avoid the mud, but we celebrated what God has done in three years and what God is going,” he posted on his Facebook page.

In his Sunday sermon, Missionary Brokinton told the congregation that even though ground was broken for a physical structure that “we are the house of God, but that we were building a building as a tool to use for His kingdom. To reach, disciple and raise up great leaders.”

Construction of the new LifeNet church building will start at the end of February and the projected completion date is set for the end of 2015.
