KIMBERLY LOCKE Reporting: The Salvation Army Church in Georgeville village, celebrated Valentine’s a day early this week.
On Wednesday night, February 13, members of the Church’s Home League/Women’s Group, were hosted at a pageant which was celebrated at the church/hall.
A highlight of the event was a modelling pageant among the ladies for popularity and best dressed.
At the end of the night, Miss Emily Budna emerged as the best dressed woman at the pageant. Mrs. Josephine Tucker took home the prize for Miss Popularity.
The church/hall was filled to capacity for the event which was enjoyed by all in attendance.
The evening ended with refreshments and snacks provided by the Commanding Officers/Pastors, Lieutenants Wilkings and Rosemarthe Buisserreth.
