PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: Mainly fair and warm conditions are dominating factor in our weather this Baron Bliss Day holiday.  Similar conditions will continue for most of this week.

The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for sunny skies with a few cloudy periods.  Tonight will be partly cloudy.

Winds over the open sea and along the coast will be easterly at five to fifteen knots.  The sea state will be choppy.  High temperatures today will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland. It wi

ll be a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.  Low temperatures tonight will be around 73 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland a cool 64 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

The tides:  there will be a low tide at 11:36 this morning. This will be followed by a high tide at 5:20 this evening.

The moon will rise at 1:18 this afternoon.  It will set at 2:27 am on Tuesday.

The sun will set at 6:02 pm today and will rise again at 6:05 am tomorrow.

The extended forecast, valid through to Wednesday is for continuing mainly fair weather with little or no rainfall.
