Sexual abuse reported in San Antonio, Cayo

PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: The sexual abuse of our underage girls continues to be reported. The latest report comes from the quiet village of San Antonio in the Cayo district.

A fourteen year old girl was preyed upon and sexually abused by a man on Friday night.

The girl’s mother went to the San Ignacio police station on Wednesday morning to report the incident.

According to police, the girl’s brother alerted their mother of what was going on.

When the woman checked with her daughter, she was told that the man took the teenage girl behind the house where he had sexual intercourse with her.

Police investigations continue.
