PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: Belize is one of the 10 happiest countries in the world.  That is according to the Wall Street Cheat Sheet, listed as one of the largest financial media companies in the United States.

In an online article published today the company’s website uses the role people’s environment plays on their overall mood and outlook on life to come up with the top 10 happiest countries in the world.

Belize is ranked 8 on the list, ahead of Sweden and El Salvador. According to the online article, the Travel Channel makes a compelling argument for Belize’s inclusion on the list of happiest countries by saying:

Scotiabank

“Wouldn’t you constantly be happy if you were surrounded by the largest barrier reef in the world, a relaxed Caribbean lifestyle, and a somewhat perfect climate? That’s what Belize citizens get to enjoy every day. On top of that, the country is known for its cultural diversity, making for a happy and harmonious place to live.”

    BELIZE IT!

I love Belize. I have been there many times, I have family and friends there, I own property there, I have a bank account there, and I will be back aging in the very near future.

I always start my trip there with a meat pie and a Belikin, savor all the local cuisine, explore all the country has to offer……. It never ends, and end it with one of Jet’s dog’s at the airport.

Just moved to Belize last fall, and I’ve never been happier in my life. I agree wholeheartedly with everything this article said.
