Junior College students complete advertising campaign about cancer

Friday, May 16, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: Students of the Business program at the Sacred Heart College Junior College have successfully completed a marketing campaign focusing on Cancer.

The students, working in groups did extensive research on five different types of cancers in order to formulate and carry out a successful media campaign.

On Thursday afternoon, each of the groups presented their completed campaign, including banners and posters to the San Ignacio Cancer Society.

The handing over was done at the Sacred Heard College Junior College conference room.

According to the lecturer who worked with the students on the campaign, material produced from the students’ work is of high quality and she is satisfied with what was done.

The advertising campaign material was accepted from the students by the Vice President of the San Ignacio Cancer Society and members say the banners and posters will be used during their upcoming cancer walk and other public events.
