Friday, June 13, 2014. JUAN CAAL Reporting: No one was seriously injured when a minivan was rear-ended on the Southern Highway last night.

According to reports, around 9:30 pm on Thursday, Rafael Chuc was about to make a turn off the Southern Highway into the road to San Marcos village when a Toyota Hilux pickup truck hit the back of the minivan.

The driver and three passengers who were all returning from parents night at the Julian Cho Technical High School received minor injuries.

They were taken to the Punta Gorda hospital for treatment.

The incident is under investigation by the police.
