Man caught red-handed with stolen TV

Wednesday, June 18, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: 36 year old Deon Bainton is accused of stealing a television set from a residence on the Philip Goldson Highway, but he was apparently caught in the act.

He pleaded not guilty to charges of burglary and handling stolen goods before Chief Magistrate Ann-Marie Smith today and was offered bail of $500.

However, he owes outstanding fines to the court which he must pay before being released.

Around 3:00 this morning a neighbor saw Bainton leaving with the black Samsung television set valued at $1,500 and alerted police, who collared him with the item still in his possession.
