Wednesday, July 2, 2014. JUAN CAAL Reporting: School is out; but it does not mean that children in Punta Gorda town have nothing to do.
About 100 boys and girls between the ages of 2 and years old are attending an ongoing summer classes at the St. Peter Claver primary school in PG.
Among the activities for these energetic children is arts and craft, including basket weaving sessions.
Organizer and facilitator Faye Arnold counts it a joy to be able to take a week of her time to dedicate to the summer classes for the children because she says, it keeps them engaged in positive and constructive activities during their time away from school.
All of the children we spoke with say they are totally enjoying the fun activities at this year’s summer classes.
