Thursday, July 3, 2014. JUAN CAAL Reporting: When school reopens for the new academic year at the end of next month, nineteen boys and girls from San Marcos village, Toledo will be transitioning to elementary school.
Graduation exercise was held in the village recently marking the completion of a year of PreSchool learning for the children.
According to Civic Education Coordinator Diana Pook the early childhood education training for the children was a huge success, thanks to the input and support of the Ministries of Education and Human Development.
The 19 graduates of San Marcos village will join hundreds of other boys and girls in entering elementary school this coming school year across Toledo.
Ms. Pook also acknowledged the contributions of parents to make the PreSchool program a success in meeting its objectives.
