Sunday, July 6, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: Hundreds of Orange Walk residents and friends of the Cervantes family turned out this afternoon for the funeral of Ramon Cervantes, Sr.

The body of Cervantes, Sr. was found late last night on a farm about 6 miles outside of Orange Walk town.

The results of a post mortem examination conducted on the body prior to the funeral have not yet been released by the police.

Indications are that at least two persons are in police detention as the police continue their investigation to determine what transpired in this case.
