Friday, July 11, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Police are investigating the fourth shooting incident in as many nights in Belize City; however this one took place on the Northside.

Around 8:45 in the evening on Thursday, Godfrey Jones of Lizarraga Avenue, Darrel Mayen of Teacher Street in West Landivar and Christopher Mayen of Lizarraga Avenue were socializing in front of Christopher Mayen’s residence when two men entered the yard.

One was fair and had his face covered with a white shirt and the other was Creole.

Both were armed and they turned their weapons on the trio, injuring Jones to the legs at the kneecap and Darrell Mayen to the right leg.

The residence is not far from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and both men are admitted in stable condition.

Police investigations into the incident continues.
