Saturday, July 12, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: A Belize City man is in critical condition in hospital after being shot in the head this morning.
The victim has been identified as 59 year old Julio Mendoza, who was attacked on Racoon Street Extension and rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
A single gunman approached and fired the shots that wounded Mendoza, though further details are sketchy.
Police are now investigating the incident.
