Sunday, July 13, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: A Belize City woman was injured in a mid-morning shooting incident in Belize City.

Reports are that the victim, a cashier at Public’s Supermarket & Pharmacy on West Canal, was shot during an apparent robbery.

The cashier, whose name is being withheld at this time, was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Preliminiary indications are that a purse belonging to the woman was taken in the robbery; but it is not certain if anything from the business establishment was taken.
