Orange Walk performers to represent the north in National Song Competition

Thursday, July 17, 2014. DEVON YOUNG Reporting: The northern regional elimination for the national Song Competition was held tonight in Orange Walk town.

The event, which was staged at the Fort Cairms Market Plaza, featured performers from Corozal and Orange Walk. It was sponsored by Atlantic International Bank.

A total of 6 performers took to the stage tonight, four of them from Orange Walk and the other two from Corozal.

And when it was all over, Roxana Alcoser and Lokisha Underwood from Trial Farm, both from the Orange Walk district were chosen to represent the north in the National Song Competition.

The National Song Competition will take place on August 9 in Belize City.
