Friday, June 18, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: There was a fire tonight in Belize City.

The blaze happened at a house on Prince Street in the area between Albert Street and East Canal.

According to reports, the fire broke out sometime between 8:30 pm and 8:45 pm.  Shortly thereafter the fire service was notified and fire fighters arrived on the scene shortly after.

The upper flat of one building was gutted, while the lower flat and two others buildings in the same yard suffered water damage from outing the blaze.

There are no reports of injuries.
