Thursday, July 24, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: The Image Factory’s latest exhibit features a Corozal artist and farmer who paints stunningly life-like images with the help of acrylic paint on canvas.
From Bob Marley to bad guys of the West, no topic escapes the attention of first-time exhibitor Freddy Bencomo.
We got a preview of “Pressure” from curator, Gilvano Swasey, who says it describes the feeling of the artist while he paints.
But he gets past it to produce images relfective of his life and ideas of what is around him.
The exhibit debuts Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Image Factory on North Front Street.
