Tuesday, August 5, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: By and large Belize City residents are enjoying the over 100 concrete streets put in by the current Belize City Council. Indeed it is their signature achievement in office.

But that achievement is under threat as with the return of the rains some of the streets are beginning to show wear and tear.

Today Mayor Darrell Bradley told us that the Council will implement its plans to have contractors address the problem.

He said the Council prepared for such an eventuality by agreeing with contractors that within a certain time period they would address any deficiencies to the satisfaction of City Hall.

The Mayor appeared this morning on KREM Radio’s Wake Up Belize Morning Vibes, opposite aggrieved BML workers and activist champion Delroy Herrera on LOVE FM.
