Tuesday, August 5, 2014. DEVON YOUNG Reporting: Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with the armed hold up of a Bowen and Bowen delivery truck in Corozal.
The incident happened on July 28 and the culprits got away with an undisclosed amount of money after they accosted 50 year old Felipe Uk and his sideman as they were making a delivery in the Altamira area of Corozal town.
Police investigations led to the arrest of Manuel Gerardo Sosa, Jovanny Mena and Dardo Chata on a single charge of robbery.
The trio was arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court and remanded to the Belize Central Prison in Hattieville until their next court appearance on October 7.
