Wednesday, August 27, 2014. DEVON YOUNG Reporting: Classes are set to resume for Primary School students on September first; but for the students and teachers of Xiabe Roman Catholic School it will not be a happy event.
That is because a heartless thief or thieves decided to steal five laptop computers from the principal’s office last week.
The laptops, which are used as teaching aids, were a donation by the Corozal Rotary Club and will be sorely missed.
The police in Corozal are asking for the public’s assistance in solving this crime and hopefully recover the stolen laptop computers.
Of note is that when authorities processed the crime scene, they did not observe any forced entry.
Anyone with information that could assist Corozal police in capturing the person or persons responsible for the burglary is asked to call the police station at telephone number: 402-2022 or the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
