American tourist found dead in guest house

Thursday, August 28, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: This evening police are taking a statement from the landlady proprietor of 3-Star Guest House on Meighan Avenue after the lifeless body of a visiting American was found this morning inside a room at the hotel.

47 year old Robert Thomas was found around 10:16 a.m.

His body showed apparent cut wound to the inner arm and abrasions to the left wrist.

He was last seen alive on Wednesday.

Thomas was pronounced dead at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after being transported there.

On our visit to the establishment it was confirmed to us that police do not suspect foul play in the incident, believing that it was likely suicide.

However, their investigations continue.
