San Pedro Columbia villagers detain family of alleged murder suspect

Monday, September 1, 2014. JUAN CAAL Reporting: Villagers of San Pedro Columbia village in the Toledo district are taking drastic action to try and capture the man who is believed to have murdered 62 year old Agripina Coc.

At a just concluded meeting, the  village leaders decided to “arrest” the entire family of the suspect in a move designed to draw him out of where he is hiding so that they can apprehend him and turn him over to the police.

The villagers have now taken two of the brothers into communal custody and are about to take the mother of the suspect into communal custody.
