Tuesday, September 16, 2014. ORANGE WALK BUREAU Reporting: An exhibit titled “Stamps of Belize” opened on Monday at the Banquitas House of Culture.
It’s a one of a kind collection and past time for two family members of the Urbina family in Orange Walk Town, namely Rainaldo Urbina Jr and Elito Urbina Sr.
What started as a hobby for Elito some 60 years ago, proved to have spiked an interest in Rainaldo to continue with the collection.
The public can view some 250 pages of these timed-pieces that include stamps from British Honduras, the Vatican State and the Queen Victoria Era.
The display will be open to the public up to September 28th.
