Tuesday, September 30, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: A tourist visiting the Caracol Archaeological site on Thursday, September 25, captured on tape what appears to be the sounds of the gunshots that ended the life of Danny Conorquie.

Video of the moments immediately after the murder show the fallen Special Constable and the frantic efforts to get visitors to safety.

Danny’s mom Jean and his aunt Jennifer Conorquie have both reviewed the video footage and it is with their permission and that of the author of the video that a portion of it is reproduced here.

The family of Danny Conorquie is appealing to any other tourists who were at the Caracol Archaeological site at the time of the tragic event and who may have captured video of photographs that could assist in the ongoing investigation to reach out to them directly or to the San Ignacio police.
