Sunday, October 12, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: A man was shot and killed on Saturday night in Belize City.

Police have identified the victim as 33 year old Salvadoran national Jose Luis Umana.

According to police reports, Unama of a Card’s Alley address, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the center of the forehead around 9 pm on Saturday.

Umana was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he died while undergoing medical treatment about an hour later.

Police investigations continue.
