UDP holds municipal convention in Benque Viejo del Carmen

Sunday, October 12, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: The United Democratic Party (UDP) is today holding a convention in Benque Viejo de Carmen to choose its slate of candidates for the municipal elections in March, 2015.

Mayoral candidates are Gerardo Rancharan, Jr. and Alfredo Kuylen.

There are 16 persons vying for a place on the slate of councillor candidates.

Among the candidates vying for councillors are Elmer Guerra, Marcos Kotch, Freddy Cruz, Carlos Cortes, Alvaro Gongora, Tony Guerra, Manuel Contreras, Mike Gonzalez, Margarita Ponce and Adelita Alfaro.

Today’s convention for the UDP is being held at the Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen.
