Hattieville village chairman still missing

Thursday, October 16, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Linesman for geological survey company Discoverseis and chairman of the village of Hattieville, 43 year old Kevin Carcamo, was last seen on July 20 heading to work in a densely forested area behind Freetown Sibun.

He did not come back and has not been seen since.

That was nearly three months ago and authorities are no closer to finding out what happened to Carcamo after initially promising blood samples came back negative a few weeks ago.

Carcamo’s family has put out a reward for information leading to either the 43 year old’s safe return or his body, whichever provides needed closure.

Police maintain an active investigation stretching from Ladyville to Belmopan but remain baffled.

Inspector Frederick Gordon from Ladyville explains that police have not closed their investigation but he could not say if a search was still ongoing.
