Ladyville man murdered

Thursday, October 16, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Police in Ladyville village, Belize district are investigating and apparent murder late Wednesday night.

The body of 22 years old Gregory Richard Goodfellow was found around 8:36 pm on the Burrell Boom/Hattieville road after gunshots were heard in area.

A police report issued this morning said that “at  approximately one hundred yards away from the concrete piece of road in the direction from Phillip Goldson Highway to Hattieville police saw  a tall “fair complexion”  male person dressed in a red T-Shirt, a long blue jeans pant marked ‘Phat Farm’ and a grey and black tennis shoe apparently dead.”

Authorities say that “further checks of the body revealed multiple gunshot wounds.”

Police say they have since retrieved a total of five 9millimeter expended shells from near the body.

Police investigations continue.
