Shooting in Belize City leaves teenager injured

Tuesday, November 4, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: A fifteen year old boy was the victim of a shooting incident in Belize City last night.

The child whose name has not been released by the police, was walking to his house around 6:08 pm on Monday when he was shot to the right shoulder.

The teenage boy was walking through Frederick’s Alley when the shooting happened.

Police say the boy does not know who shot him or why he was shot.

He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment and police say the 15 year old boy is in stable condition.

A police investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
