Tuesday, November 4, 2014. DEVON YOUNG Reporting: Infrastructure work is continuing in the municipality of Corozal, and today one motorist had some anxious moments when his SUV became stuck on a pile of dirt.
It happened at the junction of 7th Avenue and 3rd Street South.
It is not certain if the driver mis-judged the depth of the pile of dirt or just simply ignored the diversion sign, but the end result was the vehicle getting stuck going across the mound of dirt.
The vehicle was eventually freed from the construction site and the driver left with a reminded from Traffic Officers that there are penalties for not obeying traffic laws.
